How syncing works

Finding products on your platforms

Once you connect a merch platform, we pull in every product you’re selling there. After that, we sync nightly - new products appear, deleted ones vanish.

Matching products to your site

When a new product shows up, we match it to one already on your site by UPC and name. No match means a new product gets created.

Filling in the details

Different storefronts know different things about the same product. First platform with the info wins.

Reviewing your merch

Worth a quick pass when things sync - storefront listings aren’t always tidy.

Image - Product image. High resolution.
Name - Product title, formatted the same way as on your storefront.
URL slug - The unique part of the product’s URL, e.g. /merch/your-product.
Type - Vinyl, Apparel, Cassette, etc.
Price - The lowest price across all platforms selling it.
Release date - When it dropped.
UPC - Universal Product Code. Critical for matching across storefronts.
Info - Description, credits, liner notes, whatever.
Album - The album it’s a physical version of, if that applies.
Platforms - The Platforms where fans can buy.

Reordering your merch

Default is by release date. Drag-to-reorder works too:

Visit Merch and select Edit in the top right.
Drag the handle into place.
Hit Save.

A smart link that lets fans buy wherever they prefer:

Visit Merch and find the product.
Select Share from the top right, then Copy.
Drop it anywhere.

A direct link to one specific storefront:

Visit Merch and find the product.
Scroll to Platforms, find the platform, hit the three dots, select Share.
Copy and share.

Posting a product

Put a product on your homepage for an upcoming drop or a pinned item:

Visit Merch and find the product.
Select Post from the top right.
Add a short message, swap the image if you want, hit Save.

Editing a product

Edit the product’s details:

Visit Merch and find the product.
Select Edit from the top right.
Make changes and hit Save.

Edit the product’s platforms:

Visit Merch and find the product.
Scroll to the Platforms section, find the platform, hit the three dots, select Edit.
Reassign or add a new one, hit Save.

Hiding a product

Visit Merch and find the product.
Select Hide from the top right.

Unhiding a product

Visit Merch and hit Filter in the top right.
Select Hidden from the Status dropdown.
Select the product and hit Unhide.
