Fonts

A small, hand-picked library of open-source fonts - display faces that look like a poster, readable faces that don’t get in the way. Pair one for headers and one for body.

Types of fonts

Navigation, titles, anything that needs to announce itself.

Body

Paragraphs and captions. Has to stay readable at small sizes.

Display faces like Anton or Bagnard are great for Header. Serif and sans-serif faces like Inter or Source Serif Pro earn their keep as Body.

Two panels: on the left a large bold display typeface used for a header, on the right a comfortable readable sans-serif used for body text paragraphs.
Pick one font to announce things, one to explain them. Contrast between the two is what makes a pairing work.
